"Ocean Alliance" released route product list

On November 3, four members of the Ocean Alliance, COSCON, CMA CGM, Evergreen Marine and OOCL, signed a list of products for the “DAY ONE Product” route operated by the Alliance in Shanghai, including the various The order of the port routes. Chairman of COSCO Shipping Group Xu Lirong, Managing Director Wan Min and Chairman of Changrong Shipping Zhang Zhengyu attended the signing ceremony. Wang Haimin, Managing Director of COSCO Shipping, Rodolphe Saadé, Vice Chairman of CMA CGM, Li Mengjie, General Manager of Evergreen Marine, and CEO of OOCL Dong Lijun signed the agreement on behalf of the parties.


According to the agreement, after the alliance cooperation began, a total of about 350 container ships were invested, with a total capacity of 3.5 million TEU. The route network operated by the Alliance includes 41 routes, including: 20 trans-Pacific routes including 13 US West routes, 7 US East and US Gulf routes (estimated to be 160 sets of port-to-port routes); 6 Asian-to-Northwest routes Route (expected 110 groups of port-to-port routes); 5 Asian-to-Mediterranean routes (expected 165 groups of port-to-port routes); 3 transatlantic (600558, shares) routes (estimated 70 groups of port-to-port routes); 5 Far East Round-trip Persian Gulf route (estimated 70 groups of port-to-port routes); 2 Far-East routes to and from the Red Sea (expected 35 groups of port-to-port routes).


The Alliance will provide extensive service coverage in the following areas. Details of the route network, including the porting of each route, will be announced in late November.


The Ocean Alliance is particularly concerned about the quality of service on the route. Through alliance cooperation, a more optimized route service network will be presented. The signing of airline products is an important part of the preparation process of the Ocean Alliance. Through the efficient collaboration of the Alliance, Ocean Alliance is committed to providing competitive route products on the market.

According to the Ocean Alliance, the Alliance has reported to the Ministry of Communications of China the Oceans Alliance Master Agreement, which has been approved by the US Federal Maritime Commission and the Korean regulatory authorities, while the Ocean Alliance has completed the EU's required self-assessment. Through self-assessment and discussions with the European Commission, the current agreements and routes of the Ocean Alliance are in line with EU regulatory requirements. The Ocean Alliance will maintain close ties with regulators to ensure that the Alliance begins operations in April 2017 with legal compliance.
