Date:2016/12/26

The loaded iron ore is “unloaded immediately”.

The Ratlang Lake Ore Transit Terminal is located in the Lushan District of the Zhoushan Port Comprehensive Bonded Zone. It was officially opened in January this year. As one of the largest ore transit terminals in the country, this terminal is a major project for the construction of the Zhoushan Jianghai Intermodal Service Center and a strategic reserve project for the construction of a large material transit base in the Yangtze River Delta.

To help the development of the terminal, Hangzhou Customs has launched a series of support measures to create a convenient and fast regulatory environment. “In short, it is to do the 'addition and subtraction method'.” Hangzhou Customs is affiliated with Zhou Bin, the head of the monitoring and inspection department of Zhoushan Customs, Xu Bin said, “When the service is overweight, the customs clearance time is reduced, and the burden on the enterprise is reduced.” For example, berthing The bulk cargo ship of the terminal implements the “pre-declaration” system. Before the goods arrive in Hong Kong, the enterprise can pre-declare the ship's condition and the quantity of unloading, etc., to realize the ship's unloading and reduce the time of goods staying in the port; implement the “holiday reservation and customs clearance” system to facilitate the enterprise. Handling immigration procedures to improve customs clearance efficiency; support the terminal to set up a bonded warehouse before the closure of the Zhoushan Port Comprehensive Bonded Zone in the Zhoushan District, effectively undertake the bonded trade demand, save the operating costs of the enterprise, and enhance the port competitiveness.

According to statistics, from January to November, the Zhenlang Lake ore transfer terminal has berthed a total of 43 large-scale foreign ships, and about 5.094 million tons of iron ore.
