In 2016, the import and export volume of China and Thailand's mechanical and electrical products was 3,845.589 million US dollars, an increase of 3.25% year-on-year. Among them, the export to Thailand was 1,190,776,630 US dollars, down 3.36%, and the import from Thailand was 1,938,216,330 US dollars, an increase of 10.70%. From January to December 2016, China's key exports to Thailand include communications equipment and parts, electrical equipment, automatic data processing equipment and components, spare parts, automobiles and their key components, accessories, electronic components and household appliances. Parts accounted for 18.0%, 10.3%, 9.1%, 6.7% and 6.1% of Thailand's total exports, respectively. Among them, communication equipment and parts (exports 343,633,500 US dollars), electrical equipment (exports of 1966,488,000 US dollars), automobiles and their key parts, and accessories (exports 1,472,132,200 US dollars) increased by 11.87%, 0.32%, and 1.36%, respectively, and automatic data processing equipment. Its components, spare parts (exports of 173,758,800 US dollars), electronic components (exports of 117,313,800 US dollars) decreased by 16.36% and 23.50% respectively. In the same period, China's key products imported from Thailand include automatic data processing equipment and its components, spare parts, electronic components, communication equipment and parts, electrical equipment, automobiles and their key components, spare parts and consumer electronic products and parts, respectively. It accounts for 30.5%, 25.5%, 8.5%, 4.6% and 4.4% of Thailand's total imports. Among them, automatic data processing equipment and its components, spare parts (imports of 5,109,904,400 US dollars), electronic components (imported 494,335,700 US dollars), communication equipment and parts (imported 1,615,096,600 US dollars), automobiles and their key parts, spare parts (import 84261.54 Ten thousand dollars) increased by 6.00%, 2.46%, 11.23%, and 105.58%, respectively, while electrical equipment (imported US$886.21 million) decreased by 2.02%.
